Supporting Downtown Revitalization in Arizona

Connecting Communities to Resources

Businesses throughout our Arizona downtowns are coming together and supporting one another and sharing their stories of resilience and perseverance.

Are you an Arizona-based business located in the downtown district of your community? Would you like to be featured in our stories?

Peixoto Coffee (Chandler, AZ)

On April 10th, Peixoto Coffee delivered hot coffee for 50 emergency hospital workers at Chandler Regional @dignityhealthaz along with nourishing meals by @mingleandgraze.

It was heart warming to see the faces of these frontline workers as they received their coffee and food. We are beyond grateful for the work they are doing and we are beyond grateful for the donations you guys have been sending their way!

And this is only the beginning! We have already received donations to take coffee to over 500 workers on shift at hospitals, so starting next week we will be out and about delivering coffee to multiple hospitals, multiple days a week.

We never doubted the full force of our Família and community, this is proof!

THANK YOU! ???? ???????? #togetherwearestronger #weareinthistogether #chandlerstrong #arizonastrong

San Tan Brewing (Chandler, AZ)

SanTan Brewing Company announced a partnership with Crescent Crown Distributing to recycle over 16,000 gallons of draft beer that will not be delivered to Arizona bars and restaurants.

The beer will instead be distilled to produce 400 gallons of medical grade hand sanitizer. The majority of which will be donated to HonorHealth and the City of Chandler.

The community will be able to purchase bottles of hand sanitizer when they order food from SanTan’s brewpubs for takeout, curbside pickup or delivery.

La Piazza Al Forno (Glendale, AZ)

With Governor Doug Ducey announcing the closing of all Arizona schools to try to slow the spread of the new coronavirus, La Piazza Al Forno knew they wanted to step up.

Many children rely on their school cafeterias’ free and reduced lunch programs for breakfast and mid-day meals.

From 11a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday through Friday, La Piazza Al Forno will offer take-out lunches of pasta, fruit, and salad for children who rely on schools to provide meals during the week.
